This is a listing of informal rides and gatherings that are available to HSTA members. These are a vital part

of the HSTA experience. Our mission is to spread the word about what HSTAer's are doing, when they're doin' it,

and where the rest of us can join in on the fun!

Please, always be sure to contact the organizer before attending, for their planning purposes, and in case of a

change in the event plans. The state newsletters, many of which are available at ridehsta.com, are a good source of

details.

July 5-8	No Bull Dual Sport Ride
Organizer: Robert Miller	Location: Oleona, PA
Camp-in at Ole Bull State Park (814-435-5000) :Five PA State Forests form over one million acres of dual sporting enjoyment. Rooms at Cross Fork Motel (570-923-0602). Arrive Friday, Ride Saturday AND Sunday. Hundreds of miles of fire roads and some single track. Beginners welcome.
July 19-21 Vintage Days, July 26-28 Superbike Races	Mid-Ohio Vintage Days/Superbike Races Hotel Information

The Events are: Vintage Days, July 19-21 and/or Superbike Races, July 26-28. The HSTA Hotel: Knights Inn , 555 N. Trimble Road , Mansfield, OH 44906, 1-419-529-2100 Rooms held for “Honda Sport Touring Association” until 30 days before each event. Rate/night is $75 + 12.25% tax.
July 26th-28th	Eighth Annual PA Adventure & Northeast Nirvana- A Regional Rally
Organizer: Robert Miller	Location: Central, PA
A regional rally in the Endless Mountains of northeast PA. Held in conjunction with the 8th Annual PA State Rally and headquartered at the Central Park Hotel (570-925-6650) in downtown Central. It’s located on Legislative Route 4049 (four miles west of the intersection of State Routes 118 & 487) north of PA Route 118. We’ll take a 125-mile ride to Wellsboro, and after a hearty lunch at the “famous” Wellsboro Diner we’ll make the return trip to Central where dinner, a drink, and a cigar on the hotel’s front porch will be very much in order.

August 23-25	Formula USA/SFX Road Race Series A.K.A. Pocono Cycle Jam
Organizer: Robert Miller	Location: Long Pond, PA
In addition to some of the most exciting road racing in the good ol’ US of A, stunt riding by Gary Rothwell, and vendors galore they’ve added a swap meet, vintage and classic motorcycle show and parade lap of the track. August 24	Second Annual Pocono Cycle Jam Party

Robert Miller will another weenie roast at his home on Saturday afternoon of the Pocono Cycle Jam.
August 30-September 2	Renovo Run Dual Sport Ride
Organizer:	Location: Renovo, PA
This Labor Day event has been nicknamed the "Overlooks R Us Ride" and will be hosted at Kettle Creek State Park (800-PA-PARKS). We’ll be riding through Sproul and Bald Eagle State Forests on our way to Hyner View (the best overlook in PA), Kettle Creek Overlook and Bell’s Vista. Plan on riding all day Saturday and Sunday.
September 6-8	Mammoth Lakes Jean Monacelli Memorial Event

September 27-29	Fifth Annual Thumper-Humpers Event
Organizer: Robert Miller	Location: Fernridge, PA
A weekend of single-cylinder motorcycling in the Pocono Mountains. This event is tailored for single-cylinder motorcycles, but all are welcome. Lodging at Murphy's Loft Hotel((570) 646-2813)., one mile south of I-80 on PA 115. "Sportsmen’s" rooms are $40. Or find plush rooms at the Pocono Best Western for $65. Next to I-80 on PA 115, (800) 780-7234. Camp at Fernridge Campground ((570) 646-2267), one mile north of Murphy's Loft.
